About

Prior to starting Heat Recovery UK, I worked for four years as an MVHR Designer and Installer at 21 Degrees, formerly known as the Green Building Store.

 

I have designed hundreds of systems in rigid steel and flexible plastic duct for all kinds of houses. I enjoy working with architects, PMs, contractors and homeowners to achieve a system which is elegant in design and installation, and silent and unnoticeable in operation.

In my earlier life, I was a weapons engineer in the Army. I then tried the corporate world, but it was a poor fit. However, I discovered a passion in renovating my house, insulating the floor and walls with sheep's wool. I have been something of an amateur property developer since, and with my experience in MVHR design this has given me a solid background to install.

In my spare time I enjoy cycling, and working on the latest home improvement project.
